Harish wants airport at Kothagudem

New Delhi: Cabinet Minister for Irrigation, Marketing & Legislative Affairs for Telangana state T. Harish Rao on Tuesday urged Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju to allot an airport near Kothagudem of Khammam district.

A high-profile meeting will be held very soon with Telangana CM KCR and Gajapathi Raju, Harish Rao said after meeting the Aviation Minister. "I have also asked centre minister Prakash Javadekar to give clearance to Kalvakurthi, Komaram Bhim and Pranahitha irrigation projects," Rao said. I will also attend Centre water resources committee meet on river interlinking," Rao added. "Nagarajuna Sagar's left canal water dispute will taken to Union Minister Uma Bharathi's notice," Harish mentioned.
