Harish Rao slams Madhu Yashki over merger remarks

Telangana Rashtra Samithi legislator T Harish Rao slammed Congress MP Madhu Yashki for his on his remarks on the merger of TRS with Congress.

Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad, the TRS MLA said that it was Congress president Sonia Gandhi, new Vice president Rahul Gandhi or Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad who should talk about the merger and not Madhu Yashki.

He also said that if Sonia Gandhi gives assurance on carving out a separate Telangana state, then TRS could be merged with the Congress in no time.

Harish Rao lambasted Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, alleging that Vundavalli insulted freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi by saying that because of the Nehru family,  the country got independence.

He also said that the MP has insulted Gandhiji stating that the country got freedom only after scores of people sacrificed their lives. Harish Rao has demanded an apology for insulting the freedom fighter.
