"Govt turning World Telugu meet into 'Cong mela"

The  Kiran Kumar Reddy government is turning the World Telugu Conference into a 'Congress mela', said YSR Congress Party MLA Bhumana Karunakara Reddy.

Despite the heavy rain that lashed the temple town, Karunakara Reddy held a huge protest rally at Sankarambadi Circle in Tirupati on Tuesday against the way in which preparations were being made for the world conference.
Addressing the rally he urged the state government to make usage of Telugu compulsory in the secretariat and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.
