Girl Partially Chops off Five-Year-Old's Ear for Earrings

A five-year-old’s ear was partially chopped off for her earrings by her neighbour, Baby alias Spandana in Gyani Zail Singh Nagar of Film Nagar on Sunday.

Spandana allegedly took the victim, five-year-old Mounika to a secluded spot on the pretext of buying her ice cream. She then tried to remove Mounika's earrings but failed. She then, partially chopped off Mounika's ears and made away with her earrings.

On noticing Mounika's bleeding ear, neighbours alerted her parents who rushed her to a hospital and also lodged a police complaint.

Police arrested Spandana on Monday.
