Fun Turns tragedy for techie

A late night outing by five IBM software engineers in the city turned tragic, when the car they were travelling in collided with a road divider in the early hours of October 15.   While one occupant, J Vijitha, 23, died on the spot the rest are undergoing treatment at a private hospital and are said to be stable.   The police said that the five employees left  the office in the wee hours to have ice-cream in a Maruti Swift car. While returning to their office, an employee, Ravichand, who was driving the car lost control of the vehicle and hit a road divider near the Biodiversity Park.
