Jerome Salle is the director of French film Largo Winch

Hyderabad: Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi has got itself embroiled in plagiarism controversy days before its release putting fans in a state of unrest. It is being speculated that the Trivikram Srinivas film is a copy of French film Largo Winch. The film was made in 2008 by Jerome Salle which went on to become a huge hit. Interestingly, the T Series company which holds the remake rights of the French film has sought explanation from Agnyaathavaasi makers over the reports of copyrights violation. The film crew, including actor Pawan have maintained stoic silence over the entire issue.

Meanwhile, as the controversy rages on, director Jerome’s Twitter handle caught our attention. Interestingly, the copyright violations by Agnyaathavaasi makers has made the french filmmaker sit up and take notice. The director now wants to fly to India to watch the PK movie to find out the truth behind all this.

“I think I'm gonna buy a ticket (plane first than movie) #Curiosity #Agnyaathavaasi #LargoWinch,” his tweet reads. The movie is slated to hit the marquee on January 10. The makers had even planned a special screening for the Mega family members. But now it appears everything has hit a roadblock. We have to wait and watch how things turn up for the Agnyaathavaasi makers.
