Four children drowned

In a tragic incident, four children, aged between 7-10 years, drowned in a canal at Ramapuram of Vetapalem mandal in Prakasam district on Sunday afternoon.

All the children were residents of Akkayyapalem. 

According to reports, Vavela Sujatha (9), Ramudu (10), Anjamma (7) and Anjaneyulu (9) drowned after they went to swim in the canal. Their bodies were fished out in the afternoon. The children's grandmother suffered a massive heart attack and dead after hearing of the children's death.
