Former minister Koneru Nageswara Rao passes away

Koneru Nageswara Rao elected as MLA from Kothagudem constituency for three terms and served as minister in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet.

Khammam: Koneru Nageswara Rao, 75, former minister and MLA from Kothagudem constituency died on Friday. Rao suffered heart attack on early hours on Friday and family members immediately tried to take him to the hospital, but efforts were futile.

Rao elected as MLA from Kothagudem constituency for three terms and served as minister in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet. AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana minister for roads and buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao have expressed their deep condolences to Rao’s family.
