Floor-crossing: Talasani served High Court notices

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Commercial Taxes Talasani Srinvas Yadav has been served legal notices by High Courton Thursday. The cabinet minister was served notices as TDP leader Shiva Prasad Reddy filed a petition in the High Court questioning the legality of Talasani joining the TRS Cabinet.After hearing the petition, High Court ordered the Telangana's Commercial Tax Minister to furnish an explanation on the issue. Further hearing of the case was postponed by four weeks.
Talasani has been facing allegations that he was ineligible to become a TRS minister as he had won on TDP ticket and that his crossing over attracts provisions of anti-defection law.
