Talasani leads exodus from TDP in T

In what could be seen as the beginning of an exodus of TDP leaders in Telangana from the party to TRS, several TDP MLAs getting ready to jump into the TRS bandwagon.

In a big blow to the TDP, five MLAs are reportedly in touch with Telangana Chief Minister  K Chandrasekhara Rao for joining the TRS. 

According to informed sources, a senior TDP leader and ex-minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is understood to be contemplating to desert the yellow party for the TRS. Talasani is reportedly piqued by the TDP ignoring the BC leaders after the elections.It is worth recollecting that Talasani had not participated in the TDP leaders dharna over Gurukul trust land issue.  He is said to be seeking the advice of his supporters and well-wishers about his next political move. It is said that Talasani has been not happy in the TDP ever since he was denied TDP Floor Leader post in Telangana. 

It is also learnt that four more TDP leaders-Rajendra Nagar MLA Prakash Goud, Quthbullapur MLA Vivekananda Goud, Mahaboobnagar Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy and Narayanapet MLA Rajendar Reddy will follow suit soon. It is learnt that IT minister KTR is trying to persuade the fence-sitters in the yellow party to join the TRS.

He is reported to have told them to ensure at least six MLAs join the TRS so that the provisions of anti-defection law are not attracted.
