Five killed as train hits tractor in Khammam

Five farm labourers were killed and several others injured when a tractor in which they were travelling hit a running goods train.

The incident took place at Motamarri village in Bonakal mandal of Khammam district. The goods train hit the tractor when it was crossing the unmanned level crossing. Four died on the spot and the other sustained to injuries on the way to hospital.  The injured were undergoing treatment in the mandal hospital.
