Five cases registered against snake gang

Five cases have been registered against snake gang members who gangraped a woman at Pahadi Sharif in Hyderabad recently by threatening her by thrusting snakes at her.

Pahadi Sharif police produced them at a court in Ranga Reddy district on Saturday. Dayani and other accused in the case were produced in the court.

Police officials said that five cases were registered against the gang members so far.

Cases were registered on charges of committing gangrape, thrashing a person severely, flouting of the Wildlife Protection Act, threatening people and indulging land-grab.

The accused were sent in remand till September 4.
