Fissures In Anantapur Telugu Desam 

Tadipatri (Anantapur): Fissures in Anantapur unit of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) came to the fore following clashes between followers of JC Diwakar Reddy and JC Prabhakar Reddy, recently.

Following the clashes, a tense atmosphere is prevailing in Tadipatri town. A staunch follower of the JC brothers, Kakarla Ranganath broke away from them owing to differences. Later, Ranganath was found conveying new year wishes to their arch-rival and AP minister Paritala Sunita. On that occasion, Ranganath was accompanied by TDP leaders Jagadishwara Reddy and Faiyaz Basha. In view of this new-found friendship, some followers of the JC brothers attacked "Anna Transport Company", a unit owned by Ranganath and destroyed several vehicles. In retaliation, Ranganath's followers attacked JC followers Shiva and Prasad and injured them. They were shifted to Anantapur Government hospital. However, the police did not register a case as the two groups reached a settlement soon after.
