Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is stepping into the shoes of Madhuri Dixit for the remake of the latter's hit song Ek Do Teen from Tezaab. This in itself, is a major challenge because comparisons become inevitable. Adding a new life to the iconic song, Ek Do Teen is being remade for Tiger Shroff's forthcoming movie Baaghi 2, which stars Disha Patani as its female lead.

Jacqueline has been roped in for the special number and the actress can't wait for the song's first look to be unveiled. Ek Do Teen first look was released by the actress, which showed the actress in the same posture of Madhuri Dixit stretching one hand away from her body and the other placed on her forehead. “#EkDoTeen Chaar Panch… can’t stop, won't stop humming this tune!! ? The multi-coloured dress of the actress added beauty to the song poster, which was designed by Manish Malhotra. The picture of Jacqueline Fernandez from the song has gone viral and is trending on Twitter with the hashtag #Ekdoteen.

Baaghi 2 is being helmed by the choreographer turned director Ahmed Khan and the movie is set to be released on March 30. The video song of Ek Do Teen will be out soon.

Though several songs of Bollywood have been remade, this song has caught the attention and imagination of the nation and took Bollywood by storm in the early 90’s. In the recent times, Sridevi’s Hawa Hawai song was recreated in Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu.
