Fire In Mehdipatnam Flat, Kills One

Hyderabad: In a fire mishap, an elderly person identified as Mallikarjun Rao died this morning in his flat. The incident happened in Vijay Sree apartment at Gudimalkapur in Mehdipatnam. The 75-year-old deceased was a retired Navy Officer.
Today morning the neighbours noticed fire in the flat owned by Mallikarjun and immediately alerted the fire department, a fire tender rushed to the spot and doused the flames. The situation was brought under control it is yet to be ascertained as to how the fire broke out in the flat.
In another incident, in Mailardevpally lakhs of property was destroyed after a fire mishap occurred in a coconut factory. These kind of incidents are on the rise in the city doubling the scorching heat.
