Film producer held for illegal arms possession

A Telugu film producer was arrested on Thursday in Hyderabad for illegal possession of arms and ammunition.

Jubilee Hills Police officials conducted a raided the house of Mr. Rama Krishna, who  produced a film titled Na Pellam Na Ishtam sometime ago.
Two pistols and 14 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the house and Mr. Rama Krishna reportedly did not have any license for the arms.
Mr. Rama Krishna is said to have informed the police that the weapons were procured only for film making purpose.  The police have arrested the producer and are investigating.
