Father uploads morphed pics of son's GF as revenge in Hyd

A father's love for his son can sometimes take on insane proportions. In a bid to get back at his son's former girlfriend, a 50-year-old man allegedly sent abusive messages and obscene pictures to her and her relatives on social networking site, Facebook. 

As per reports, the father, a civil engineer first created a fake Facebook profile and then send her a request .On being accepted as a friend, he started sending her abusive messages, and even uploaded morphed pictures of her.  

The girl in question, soon lodged a complaint with the police and the latter arrested Rapolu Prabhakar Rao, resident of Chandanagar. 

Reports indicate that his son, 22-year-old Sandeep fell in love with his colleague, who is 26-year-old. When he sought his father's blessings, the latter refused the alliance because of the age difference. Angered at his father's refusal, Sandeep left his father's house, last November. 

Hurt and humiliated over his son's decision to leave home, Rao tried to extract revenge from the woman, who is now married to someone else. He soon got details of her, her relatives and other family members and started sending them abusive messages and obscene photos.  

Police have  registered a case against him under sections 66 (A, C & D) of the IT Act, 2000.
