Father kills wayward son in Warangal

The love for liquor can be a fatal thing and can also lead to rivalry between family members.

A family in Mugdumpuram, Chennaraopeta found this out the hard way when the patriarch of the family, Jampayya, in a fit of rage, killed his wayward son, Krishna, with a rod.
Jampayya, who has three daughters was very close to his only son. According to reports, pampered Krishna had turned wayward and instead of searching for employment would indulge in drunken revelry with his friends. Every night he would return home and ask his father to fund his drinking habits and would argue with the latter when refused money.
On Monday, unable to take this attitude of son, Jampayya, in anger took a rod lying nearby and hit his son hard. Krishna died on the spot. Police reached the spot, filed a case against him and took him into custody.
