Father Held For Abusing Daughter

Hyderabad: An intermediate student lodged a complaint against her father over abusing. Police booked the father under Section 354A and 509 and investigating the case.

Shankar, 40, an autorikshaw driver, resides in Znani Jail Singh Nagar, Film Nagar. He has two daughters and a son. Elder daughter,17, is studying Intermediate. The drunkard Shankar has been abusing his daughters and beating his wife every day, she said in the complaint. Despite counseling by basti leaders, Shankar's attitude did not change. Disgusted with father's rude behavior, the daughter lodged a complaint in the local police station.
