Fasting YSRCP leader shifted to hospital

YSR Congress Party leader YS Avinash Reddy who went on an indefinite hunger strike in Kadapa from August 19, opposing the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh was on Sunday shifted to a local hospital after his health deteriorated.

Avinash's health condition started deteriorating from Saturday as his blood pressure and sugar levels fell down due to fasting.

Police held discussions with him to end his fast but the YSRCP leader did not relent. As the his health condition was getting  worse, police forcefully shifted him to the RIMS hospital in the district.
