Farmers oppose land-pooling, stage unique protest

Villagers of Tulluru, Vundavalli and Penamaka mandals have resorted to unique protests against the use of fertile agriculture land for setting up of new capital.

According to reports, the farmers have put up boards in their fields which showed their strong opposition to the land pooling.
It may be recalled that they have conducted a house-to-house signature campaign strongly opposing giving up of fertile lands. They are also planning to send representations with the signatures to the President of India and Prime minister.
On the other hand, they have decided to organise a “Chalo Delhi” programme next month to meet top leaders in Delhi and seek their support for their fight against the land-pooling.
