Farmers Complain To Lokayukta About TDP Minister

Anantapur: YSR Congress Party's Raptadu constituency in-charge Thopudurti Prakash Reddy has made serious comments against minister Paritala Sunitha here today. Speaking to media, he alleged that the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is resorting to huge corruption in the name of water supply.

Prakash Reddy has demanded detailed investigation and challenged the minister for an open debate on the subject. The YSRCP leader stated that water can be supplied to Perur dam from Handriniva project, free of cost. It would be possible if the supply is done through Madakasira canal, he suggested.

"A big scam of Rs 1,140 Crores is involved in the name of water supply works to Perur. The Lokayukta should investigate the minister's misuse of public funds. If there is no investigation, we are ready for an open debate on the issue," he added.

Prakash Reddy has congratulated the farmers who have complained to the Lokayukta about the misrule by minister Sunita.
