Fact-finding committee submits report on Sadavarti to YS Jagan

YSRCP has set up the fact-finding committee as Sadavarti satram land issue is rocking the State.

Hyderabad: A fact-finding committee on Sadavarti Satram lands, on Monday met YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. After touring Amaravati and Chennai, the committee has prepared a report and handed it over to Reddy. YSRCP has set up the fact-finding committee as Sadavarti satram land issue is rocking the State.

TDP government has auctioned 81 acres Sadavarti land, located in old Mahabalipuram, at a meagre rate of Rs27lakh per acre as against the market price of Rs13 crore.

YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao is heading the committee. Sadavarti satram is located in old Mahabalipuram under the limits of Talamburu village limits in Tamil Nadu. TDP government has auctioned 81 acres Sadavarti land at a meagre rate of Rs27lakh per acre as against the market price of Rs13 crore.

The Rs1,000-crore worth land was auctioned for only Rs22.44 crore. Chalamalashetty Ramanujaya, Chairman of Kapu Corporation and a close associate of Chandrababu Naidu, and other TDP leaders have bought Sadavarti Satram lands in an auction held by AP Endowment Department.
