Exert pressure on Govt : Y.S.Jagan

YSR Congress Party president and Leader of Opposition Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the party cadre to exert pressure on the ruling TDP to implement all its election promises.

He addressed the party cadre at the Lotus Pond camp office in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The YSRCP chief asked the party leaders to be available to the people everyday.“Our party leaders should try to solve the problems of the people,” said Y.S.Jagan.

“The party leaders and activists should pressurize the state government so that all the welfare schemes introduced by late Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy continue,” said Y.S.Jagan in the meeting.

In the meeting, all the district party chiefs and other important leaders participated. 

Ensure safe return of stranded Telugus from Libya, Jagan tells Centre

Leader of the opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has requested the Union Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj to initiate immediate measures to ensure the safe return of Indian nationals.

In a letter sent to Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday, YS Jagan told her that 1000 Telugu people, who hail from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, are stranded in the Libya and have no way of coming out of the strife-torn country. Leader of the opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has requested the Minister of External  Affairs  Sushma Swaraj  to initiate immediate measures to ensure the safe return of Indian nationals. Nearly 100 workers from Kurnool are desperately waiting to come back home safely, Jagan pointed out.

“The crisis in Libya has deepened further and slipped into a civil war which makes living conditions of Indians and other foreign nationals more dangerous, I request the Union Government to intervene and ensure the safe return of Indian nationals,” Jagan appealed. 

Requesting the External  Affairs  minister to treat this matter as top priority, YS Jagan said that the people who hail from Kurnool district and other parts of both the sibling states are very poor and left their families behind to earn some money. Their family members back home are very worried about their bread-winners.
