Ex-MLA’s daughter dies in road accident

Former MLA Chittineni Venkateswarlu bereaved as he lost his daughter in a road accident in Guntur district on Monday morning.

Daughter of former MLA Chittineni Venkateswarlu died, when a car in which she was travelling overturned near Bramhanakoduru of Ponnuru mandal in the district. The deceased has been identified as Padmavathi (52). Padmavathi died on the spot while her husband Devendernath suffered serious injuries. The locals rushed Devendernath to a local hospital in  Ponnuru.According to sources, their car overturned after ramming into the RTC bus coming from Repalle to Guntur.They were going to Ponnuru from Eluru at the time of the mishap. The police, on getting information, rushed to the spot and registered a case.
