Ex-Minister’s son arrested for burglary at brother's house

Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police arrested Nimma Mallikharjun reddy, son of ex-minister Nimma Raji Reddy, on Thursday in a theft case.

According to police, there had been a family squabble between the two sons of Raji Reddy over a house located at Yousuf Guda. While going abroad, the elder son Nimma Srinivas Reddy stored his household belongings in that house. After coming back from foreign trip, Srinivas Reddy found that the house door was broke open and the belongings missing.

Suspecting his brother, Srinivas Reddy lodged a complaint with Jubilee Hillls police four months ago. He mentioned in the complaint that Mallikharjun was the person who burgled the house and took away the belongings.

After conducting the probe, police found Mallikharjun's hand in the incident. The accused was sent for remand after recovering the house belongings.
