Eve-teasing Prevention Team SHE Celebrates 1st Anniversary

Hyderabad: SHE, the special team formed by the city police to prevent eve-teasing celebrated its first anniversary on Sunday.Inaugurating the event, TRS leader and Nizamabad MP Kavitha said the success of SHE in the city is instilling confidence among the girls, especially those coming from different places to work in Hyderabad. This has improved the image of Hyderabad in the country, she said adding that the government will further strengthen the team. She lauded the police department for the success of women's security team. Actor-politician Jayasudha also attended.

The SHE teams demonstrated the techniques of self-protection for girls in danger and those who performed best in the past year were given awards.
