Mega hero Varun Tej is one of the popular actors in Bollywood. The actor was last seen in Anil Ravipudui's 'F2' and the film did exceptionally well at the box office. He has been taking up challenging roles and delivered spectacular performances in the movies.

Currently, Varun Tej is busy shooting for his next film which is touted to be a sports drama. He is prepping for his role in Mumbai. The regular shooting of the film will commence in the early week of December.

There have been reports that Varun Tej's yet to be titled project’s makers were holding talks with Mahesh Babu's actress for the female lead's role in the movie. She is none other Kiara Advani who made her debut in Telugu with 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. Her performance won huge accolades and appreciations from critics and fans. Later, she even featured opposite Ram Charan in 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' and it sank without a trace at the box office.

Kiara has become a household name in Telugu states. The makers offered her a role in Varun's untiled flick but she turned it down due to unavailability of the dates. The makers have been looking out for another suitable actress in Kiara’s replacement ever since.

Debutant Kiran Korrapati will be directing this movie and Allu Aravind’s eldest son Allu Venkatesh will be producing the movie. Stay tuned for more details.
