Anchor Suma Throws “Green Challenge” To Hero Jr. NTR
HYDERABAD: “Green Challenge”-an innovative programme by Telangana State Government to rope celebrities into “Go Green” movement is yielding good results as many as celebrities, particularly from Telugu Film Industry and Sports personalities are participating one after one.
Popular TV Anchor Suma Kanakala took up the challenge thrown by veteran actress Jayasudha and planted saplings in Begumpet area. After planting saplings, she has thrown Green Challenge to Hero Jr. NTR, Actress Manchu Lakshmi, Big Boss-3 winner Rahul Sipligunj and Tv anchor Omkar.
Earlier, the Telangana government has taken up “Haritha Haram” programme throughout the state to plant lakhs of saplings in making the state as green belt. As part of it, the Green Challenge thrown MP Santhosh Kumar was recently accepted by Hero Akkineni Nagarjuna and then it was Vijay Devarakonda, who accepted the Green Challenge thrown by Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration. Vijaya Devarakonda was also nominated to Green Challenge by Badminton Player Kidambi Srikanth.
The Telangana Government’s Chief Advisor Rajiv Sarma has first thrown the Green Challenge to Arvind Kumar.
