Vijay Sethupathi’s Role Actually Written For This Telugu Mega Actor

Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is currently one of the most sought after actor in Tollywood as he has delivered multiple hits in the recent times, which includes 96 and 'Sye Raa'. The choices of his unconventional scripts has always impressed the audience. Currently, Vijay Sethupathi is awaiting to hear the response of 'Sanga Thamizhan' in Telugu titled as 'Vijay Sethupathi'.

The film is all set to arrive in theatres on November 15. Actor Vijay Sethupathi and Director Vijay Chander are not leaving any stone unturned in promoting the film. This is the filmmaker’s third venture after hits like 'Vaalu' with Simbu and 'Sketch' with Chiyaan Vikram. Vijay Sethupathi is playing dual roles in the film.

Vijay Sethupathi was not the first choice for the film. Yes, what you read is right. In one of his interview, director Vijay Chander revealed that the story was actually written for Power star Pawan Kalyan. Vijay Chander had not been approached nor was the story narrated to Pawan Kalyan as he was busy with a political career. That's how Vijay Sethupathi came into picture.

'Sanga Thamizhan'(Vijay Sethupathi) is produced by Bharathi Reddy's Vijaya Productions and scheduled to hit the screens this Friday along with Vishal's 'Action'. The film also stars Nivetha Pethuraj, Raashi Khanna, Soori and Nassar in pivotal roles.
