Megastar Chiranjeevi featured in 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' a film based on the Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The film completed its strong run at the box office.

Besides Chiranjeevi, 'Sye Raa' also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu,Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannah, Nayanthara and a few other senior actors in crucial roles. The film opened to a massive response in Telugu states and was declared a super hit in few areas.

The film was released on October 2nd which was also Gandhi Jayanti and had ended its box office run worldwide with a distributor share of Rs 143 crore. The film failed to create magic in Northern regions but the Telugu version of 'Sye Raa' stands at the top 3 worldwide with a distributor share of Rs 134.40 crore.

It is worth mentioning here that 'Sye Raa' is believed to have failed to 'Saaho' collections. If sources are to be believed, 'Sye Raa' collected Rs 230 Cr gross while 'Saaho' earned Rs 235 Cr share at the ticket windows.

Coming to overseas box office report, Sye Raa made a business of $2.625 Million in North America. Looks like 'Sye Raa' become an average hit at the box office there.According to sources, 'Sye Raa' is expected to stream on Amazon Prime Video from November 15. Talking about Chiranjeevi's new film, he is teaming up with Koratala Siva who helmed films like 'Srimanthudu' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu' for an interesting project.
