Zee Telugu and its shows have built a very special relationship with their loyal audiences over 11 glorious years and for those viewers, the channel is bringing together their favorite artists who have been part of the Zee Telugu family with the 9th edition of Zee Kutumbam Awards

All around the year, Zee Telugu tells stories of ordinary people embarking upon extraordinary journeys, and Zee Kutumbam Awards is the celebration of such journeys. Propellers of these change are acknowledged across many award categories ranging from popular viewer’s choice awards to special jury awards.

Speaking on the launch of the 2nd Zee Kutumbam Awards, Anuradha Gudur, Business head – Zee Telugu & Zee Cinemalu. said, “Over the years, the strength of Zee Telugu has been in its unique storytelling which encapsulates the ethos, culture and traditions that the Telugu audience cherish and hold close to their hearts. With Zee Kutumabam Awards, we aim to present our viewers with new frontiers of entertainment as we welcome them to join us in this celebration of talent that has helped shape Zee Telugu as the preferred entertainment destination across all age groups.”

The winners will be chosen through a fair voting process that will allow viewers and fans to vote for their favorite stars by SMS or by logging on to the Zee Telugu Kutumbam Awards Microsite on the Zee 5 App/Website or by Facebook voting. Additionally, viewers can also vote directly at the Zee Telugu Canter Vans that will be travelling across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh to the following cities starting 15th September.

The Canter Vans travelled to Sangareddy, Rajamundry, Sadashivpet, Kakinada, Zahirabad, Peddapuram, Kamareddy, Samalkota, Nizamabad, Annavaram, Bodhan, Vizag, Gajuvaka, Armoor, Anakapalle, Nirmal, Vizianagaram,Korutla, Bobbli, Karimnagar, Srikakulam, Warangal and Sompeta in the last few days and they will also cover the following cities:

For the ‘Favorite’ categories, winners will be chosen basis the highest number of votes received collectively SMS, Facebook voting, votes registered through Zee5 and the canter activity.

For all other categories, votes garnered through Zee5 and the canter activity alone will be considered to adjudge the final winners. The Zee Telugu Kutumbam will be held on Sunday, October 6th at Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium, Yousufguda, Hyderabad, 6 PM onwards.
