Sye Raa First Day Collections: Chiranjeevi Movie Fails To Beat Prabhas, Yash Records

Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa' has taken the box office by storm. The film was off to a flying start on its opening day with jaw-dropping figures. 'Sye Raa' has also earned glowing reviews from critics and public aike. The word of mouth should help it do well over the weekend. 'Sye Raa' is a pan India film which was released in several languages.

Sye Raa was released in several theatres in Hindi but the film is facing huge domination from Hrithik-Tiger Shroff's 'War'. If we compare 'Sye Raa' collections with blockbuster hits of 'Saaho' and 'KGF'. The film has failed to create records but managed to earn Rs 2 Cr in Hindi version alone.

On the other hand, 'Sye Raa' has crossed one million dollar mark with premieres collections on foreign shores. The film is expected to do mindblowing business by this weekend. There is no doubt, 'Sye Raa' is a perfect gift by Ram Charan to his father Chiranjeevi. Both are shining as their efforts of two years have been paid off. Chiranjeevi is back and mega fans are over the moon following the ultimate success of 'Sye Raa'.

If trade sources are to be believed,'Sye Raa' has registered Rs 45 Cr on its opening day at the world wide box office. Exact figures are yet to be known. We shall update area-wise collections shortly.

The film was directed by Surender Reddy who also helmed Race Gurram starring Allu Arjun in lead roles. Apart from Chiranjeevi, the film also features Nayanthara,Tamannah, Big B and among others who are seen in key roles.
