Sye Raa Movie To Be Released As Planned: High Court

Hyderabad: High Court gave a green signal for the release of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Wednesday, October 2. The movie is directed by Surender Reddy. The film features Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead, with Tamanaah, Sudeep, Nayanthara, Amitabh Bachchan among others.

Tamil Nadu Youth association leader Kethireddy Jagadishwar Reddy filed a petition in the High Court claiming that Uyyalavada Narsimhareddy's history is being misrepresented as a biopic. The petition also sought to stop the release of the film. Responding to his petition, the made it clear that they cannot stop the release of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

High court justice advised the petitioner that the movie is directed only for entertainment and it is better to leave the decision to the audiences only.  High Court suspends the Kethireddy petition.

Chiranjeevi and movie team are overjoyed with the positive review of the film and this court verdict has only increased their jot.
