Lata Didi Makes Instagram Debut At 90
Mumbai: Guess who has joined Instagram? It is none other than legendary Lata Mangeshkar who recently turned 90.
On Monday, the singer announced the news on Twitter about her debut on the photo sharing app, Instagram. She shared the link of her Instagram and profile photo along with it.
In her recent Instagram post, she can be seen holding a book based on her life, which was gifted to her by her sister Meena Khadikar. "Namaskar, Aaj pehli baar aap sabse Instagram pe jud rahi hun," she captioned in hindi.

The legendary singer added another post on Monday in which she is seen sitting with her two sisters Meena Khadikar and Usha Mangeshkar. "Namaskar! Kal meri choti behen Meena Khadikar ne mujhe uske dwara mujhpar likhi hui hindi kitab Didi Aur Main ki peheli copy bhent ki," she captioned the second photo.

The memoir was released on September 29, a day after the iconic singer's birthday. The profile is yet to be verified which is named, "lata_mangeshkar," . Her bio reads, "Official Instagram Account of Lata Mangeshkar". Mangeshkar has amassed over 51.9k followers already.
Often addressed as "Nightingale Of India", Lata Mangeshkar's soulful voice has been part of Bollywood for over 70 years.
