Manmadhudu 2 First Day Box Office Collections
Akkineni Nagarjuna returns to the big screen with Manmadhudu 2, an official remake of a French movie I Do (2006) which inspired the superstar.The film opened to mixed reviews from critics and audience. The comic timing of Vennela Kishore turns out to be one of the highlights of the film. Samantha Akkineni and Keerthy Suresh were seen in prominent roles and all the lead actors have done justice to their roles, but in the end, failed to live up to audience expectations.
Talking about collections, the premieres of Manmadhudu 2 were held in 104 locations in the USA. It has managed to collect $82,190 which is a pretty decent solo premiere grosser for Nagarjuna. His previous films premieres collections are-Devadas( $159,724), Manam($95,473), Manmadhudu2:( $82,190), RGG2: ($80,916) and Oopiri: ($76,635). Looks like Manmadhudu 2 has failed to beat Manam and Devadas in terms of premieres collections. Nagarjuna has a massive fan following in Telugu states and the movie opened in many centres by pulling out old movies. According to sources, Manmadhudu 2 is believed to have register approximately 8.9 Cr on opening day at the box office. Exact figures are yet to be known.
The film was directed by Rahul Ravindran and music has been composed Chaithan Bharadwaj who previously composed for 'RX100' movie. Rakul Preet is seen as the female lead alongside Nagarjuna in Manmadhudu 2. Watch this space for more updates.
