Muralitharan Biopic On Cards

We all heard about the legendary spinner in world cricket Muttiah Muralitharan, a spinner who broke all the records in ODIs and Tests in terms of wickets. Currently, biopics of cricketers are trending in the movie industry across the country. Muttiah Muralitharan’s biopic is also being readied. It will go on to the sets under director Sripathy Rangasamy. Tamil actor Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi will don the role of Muralitharan in this film. The iconic right arm off spinner is of Tamil descent, Playing the role of the all-time great spinner in the world is a challenge Vijay Sethupathi reportedly said.

“Muttiah Muralitharan is going to take part in this movie and is also helping me to work on his bowling action as well.”

Muttiah Muralitharan said it's very happy to see Vijay Sethupathi playing his role in this movie. The movie team is considering the title of '800' as the great off-spinner claimed 800 wickets in Test cricket. The film is being produced by DAR Motion Pictures.
