Top Bollywood Actor Plays Charan aka Alluri Sitharamaraju’s Father in RRR

Ram Charan might have made his Telugu debut with 'Chirutha' film but Cherry rose to fame with 'Magadheera' because it was a smash hit at the box office. The film was directed by none other than Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. Post that, he has never looked back as he has been bagging prestigious projects back to back and also delivering hits with his hard work. There were days that he would consult his dad Megastar Chiranjeevi before signing up for movies.

But now, that seems to have changed. Charan ow decides on his own as he has the required experience and insights into what works and what won’t. But he does discuss projects with his dad before giving his nod. He was last seen in 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' which failed to create magic at the box office. He won accolades for his performance in the movie though.

Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for Rajamouli's 'RRR'. He will be seen romancing Bollywood talent Alia Bhatt in the period flick based on Telugu freedom fighters. The latest we hear is that Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan who has been roped in to play a prominent role in 'RRR' will play Charan’s father in 'RRR'. Ram Charan will be essaying the role of Alluri Sitharamaraju while Jr NTR will be seen playing Komaram Bheem. Fans can’t wait to see these actors in new avatars.

They will look completely different when compared to their commercial movies. The makers have completed the shooting of some important sequences on costly sets erected in Hyderabad.

'RRR' is helmed by Rajamouli and bankrolled by DV Danayya under the banner DVV Entertainments banner. The film will hit the marquee on July 30 in 2020.
