Hanumakonda: Big Boss Season 2 winner Kaushal Manda is the back in the news, albeit for a good cause. Kaushal had arrived in Hanumakonda in Warangal district on Monday to meet the parents of the 9-month old baby girl who was raped and killed by a paedophile named Kolepaka Praveen (28) at Tailors’ street in Hanamkonda, Warangal four days ago.
Protests erupted all over Hanamkonda with the public staging agitations on the roads demanding justice for the victim and severe punishment to the culprit.
Speaking to reporters after meeting the victim's parents, he said that he was ready to go on a fast-unto-death until the government responds and sets up a fast track court and punish the accused. He said that he could not describe the pain that the baby's parents were going through. He said that people should not just come and meet the parents, but come forward to fight for justice till the accused is severely punished.
He said though the Government had assured the parents of justice within 11 days, Kaushal asked the victim's father if we should wait. However, he said that we should not wait and that he was ready to protest and fast-unto-death in front of the Magistrate office right now.
