Mahesh Babu's Maharshi is all set to hit theatres tomorrow. Expectations are riding high. Besides an impressive star cast featuring Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh, the makers of the movie have also roped in a talented cinematographer for the movie. He's none other than KU Mohanan of Andhadun fame.

The cinematographer is bowled over by the hospitality of the telugu film industry. Speaking to a leading English daily, Mohanan said that even though he had to forego lucrative offers during his stint on Maharshi sets, he doesn't regret it. He said after Don, Maharshi is the movie with the longest schedule he had worked on.

Maharshi schedule was between June 2018 and April 2019, which means the cinematographer had to allot nearly one year on a single movie. He says, " I lost out on many other films since I had to spend four more months shooting this." But he admits to liking the experience of working in the Telugu film industry.

Maharshi is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced under the Venkateshwara Creations banner. The film is touted to be a social drama where Mahesh will be seen in three avatars. The film will hit the marquee on May 9.
