Alia Bhatt Asked Rajamouli For A Small Role In RRR

Alia Bhatt has a packed schedule with a long line up of films in the pipeline - Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak, Karan Johar's Takht, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah.

Her recent release, Kalank also starring Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha released last week. Her performance in the movie is earning appreciation from all quarters.

While she is already become one of the ruling actresses in Bollywood, Alia is gearing up for her Telugu debut with SS Rajamouli's RRR. Opening up about the role, Alia was quoted saying in an interview with PTI, "I had bumped into Rajamouli sir at an airport and I begged him that whatever part he has (for me) I will do it. That time he had not casted for the girl yet."

Explaining further, Alia said, "He said he was anyway talking about my timelines. So I told him whatever be the timelines, I will make it happen. We made it happen."

The movie featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles will have Alia star opposite Ram Charan. The actress has already begun taking Telugu lessons for her role in RRR.
