Natural star Nani has been away from the silver screen since a while. He was last seen in 'Devadas' which didn't rake any moolah at the box office. Recently, Nani has wrapped up the regular shoot of 'Jersey'. After a long time, Nani has held a press meet to announce the release date of 'Jersey'. Over the past few days, rumors were churning out that 'Jersey' may not release on April 19. These rumours have reached Nani from his close friends. Nani stepped forward to put the rumours to rest.

While addressing the media, Nani has revealed that 'Jersey' will open in theatres on the scheduled date - April 19. The theatrical trailer of 'Jersey' will be out on April 12 @ 9 AM on YouTube. The 'Jersey' pre-release event might be held on April 16. More details about the venue and chief guest are awaited.

Nani will be essaying the role of a cricketer from Hyderabad Ranji Team. It is not a sports drama but believed to be emotional drama which will be definitely loved by all age group people.

It is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who shot to fame with his debut movie 'Malli Raava'.
