Lakshmi's NTR directed by Ram Gopal Varma is doing well at the box office. The film received mixed reviews from all quarters. Lakshmi's NTR is the third film about legendary actor NTR and perhaps, the most eagerly awaited one, as well.

If you recall, in last two months, Balakrishna's 'NTR Kathanayukudu' and 'NTR Mahanayukudu' were released in January and February respectively. These two movies also the showcased the journey of NTR from movies into politics.

Both the instalments have been declared as the flop at the box office. RGV's latest outing titled Lakshmi's NTR which was released on March 29, is likely to have a dream run at the box office .

According to reports, Lakshmi's NTR has beaten 'NTR Kathanayakudu' and 'NTR Mahanayakudu' in terms of IMDB rating. IMDB is one of the resourceful sites for movies and other TV content.

The website rates movies based on audience voting. If IMDB charts are to be believed, Lakshmi's NTR has earned 7.9 rating while NTR Kathanayakudu is rated 5.9 and NTR Mahanayakudu 5.5. In this context, RGV's 'Lakshmi's NTR' has surpassed Balakrishna films' records.

‘Lakshmi's NTR’ is produced by Rakesh Reddy and Deepthi Balagiri. Newbies P Vijay Kumar, Yagna Shetty and Sri Tej are seen playing the roles of NT Rama Rao, Lakshmi Parvathi and Chandrababu Naidu, respectively.
