Actor Karthi is basking in the glory of 'Dev' which turned out to be a decent hit at the box office. With glowing reviews and strong positive word of mouth, 'Dev' has managed to succeed at the box office without any obstacle. Karthi and Rakul Preet's performance has won over accolades from critics and public alike. Of late, we have been hearing that Karthi has committed to a new project with Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame.

A source says Karthi's forthcoming flick has been titled as 'Khaidi'. The makers of the movie are looking forward to an auspicious day to announce the title along with the movie's first look poster. Sadly, Karthi's ‘Khaidi’ title didn’t go down well with the Telugu audience especially with the Mega fans. If you may recall, Chiranjeevi started his second innings with 'Khaidi No-150' which was declared a phenomenal hit at the box office. Just a while back, Nani announced the name of his new movie title 'Gang Leader'. Mega fans pressured Nani and filmmakers to change the title. It is being said that they are likely to change the title and officially announce a new one.

The latest buzz on social media is that Karthi may also rename the title of the movie. Or will they continue with the same original title is yet to be seen? A group of people are happy and sending out best wishes to Karthi and 'Khaidi' team to make a splash hit at the box office. Another section of fans are upset with the title of the movie. It wouldn't be wrong if we say since Chiranjeevi has been ruling Telugu Film Industry over the decades.
