NTR Mahanayakudu Biggest Box Office Disaster

Nandamuri Balakrishna made a biopic of his father and legendary actor NTR in two parts- 'NTR Kathanayakudu' and 'NTR: Mahanayakudu'. Balakrishna tried to boost his career with NTR’s biopics. Unforuntaley, both the installments have failed to impress the audience. To top it all off, the movie didn't create any magic at the box office. It ended as a double disaster in Balakrishna's career. NTR: Mahanayakudu is absolute disaster made on the budget of approx Rs 200 crore.

According to sources, Balakrishna's 'NTR Kathanayakudu' has managed to earn approximately Rs 38 cr at the worldwide box office in its life. While coming to the second installment 'NTR Mahanayakudu' lifetime collections failed to recover even 50% of NTR Kathanayakudu first day collections. The film was rejected by all section of audiences and turned out to be the biggest flop in Balayya's career. If sources are to be believed, 'NTR Mahanayakudu' has collected Rs 7 cr at the ticket window.
