Malayalam actor Mammootty starring 'Yatra' is heading towards becoming an absolute winner at the box office. The movie has received overwhelming performance for the content and the acting prowess of the lead cast. It is having a dream run at the ticket counter. Currently, 'Yatra' is in its third week and has been setting the cash registers ringing ever since its released. According to sources, 'Yatra' is managed to hold its own position despite new releases- 'NTR Mahanayakudu' and 'Mithai'. The movie has become the first choice for movie lovers. 'Yatra' is giving tough competition as well as dominating other films for various reasons.

'Yatra' story is all about Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy and the makers have highlighted his Padayatra which was taken in 2004. Dr YSR Padayatra turned out to be a massive success. Likewise, the audience is also showering love and garnered immense appreciation for his biopic 'Yatra'. Mammootty has gotten into the skin of YSR's character and nailed it.
