Looks like Keerthy Suresh's 'Mahanati' will stay in the audience mind longer than expected. Women-centric films are rare in Indian film industries. For any female-oriented movies, Anushka Shetty and Nayanathara are ideal choices for filmmakers. Keerthy Suresh has broken tghe trend and went on to woo the audience and won critically acclamation in her role as Savitri in the latter's biopic Mahanati. She also became the most favourite actor for filmmakers. The film bagged many awards for its content, production values and Keerthy's performamce.

Keerthy's 'Mahanati' gave a ray of rope for Telugu filmmakers to turn biopics into commercial hits rather than focusing on routine drama. At the time of its release, 'Mahanati' surpassed every possible record and turned out to be the seventh highest grossing film in 2018. The movie has emerged as a massive hit at the box office. If latest reports are any indication, the film has added another feather its hat. Hold your breath, Keerthy Suresh's 'Mahanati' has managed to beat Prabhas's Baahubali-The Conclusion. Does it mean Mahanati is better than Baahubali in content?

No, we don't mean box office collections but 'Mahanati' has bagged higher position than Baahubali-The Conclusion. Keerthy Suresh's 'Mahanati' has received 8.1 rating while Rajamouli's Baahubali-The Conclusion is rated 8.0 on IMDB charts. In this context, Keerthy's 'Mahanati' is ahead of top and highest grossing Indian films Baahubali-The Conclusion is among the top 100 lists.

Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh's name is doing the rounds as one of the female leads in Rajamouli's 'RRR'. Till date, Keerthy hasn't responded or denied the rumours about her role in 'RRR'. We will soon know.
