Nag Keen On Akhil Movies Turning Money Spinners

Akkineni Nagarjuna is leaving no stone unturned to make his younger son Akhil as a bankable actor in the Telugu Film Industry. Akhil has got recognition among the audiences with his debut film 'Akhil' which couldn't really set the box office on fire. This year too, Akhil had impressed everyone with his performance as a flamboyant lover boy in his recent outing 'Mr. Majnu,' but it ended up as another flop in his career.

Reports are doing the rounds that a young director went with an interesting script to Nagarjuna for Akhil. Nagarjuna has reportedly kept it on hold citing budget issues. It is believed that the director who narrated the story also quoted a Rs 30 crore-plus budget for the film. Nagarjuna has liked the script and is urging the director to re-work on a budget to make it feasible and saleable. Nagarjuna is scouting for good scripts which could strike gold at the box office. As Nagarjuna doesn't want his son’s market to go down.

Reports suggest that Nagarjuna is aiming for money spinner movies which would help Akhil to re-shape up his career. On the other hand, Akhil is holding talks with a couple of directors who are very keen to work with him. Akhil has to prove his mettle with his new movie at the ticket window.
