Superstar Mahesh Babu has been on his toes for more than a year now. Last year, Mahesh Babu had a hectic shoot schedule for 'Bharat Ane Nenu', which was directed by Koratala Siva. After 'Bharat Ane Nenu', Mahesh Babu has moved quickly to 'Maharshi', which is shaping up well. Currently, regular shootings are underway at Ramoji Film City. 'Maharshi' is all set to arrive on April 25.

Looks like, Mahesh Babu has started reading scripts. There were reports that Mahesh Babu’s next movie would be with Sukumar. It has been learned that Mahesh Babu didn't like a script narrated by Sukumar after which he came up with a better storyline but even that didn't live up to Mahesh Babu’s expectations. Rumours are doing the rounds that due to the weak story idea, Mahesh Babu would be thinking to associate himself with other directors. We have been hearing several directors names such as as-Anil Ravipudi and Sandeep Vanga. Both the directors delivered massive hits-F2 and Arjun Reddy, respectively. Going by the buzz on social media, Mahesh Babu may not tie up even with Anil Ravipudi and Sandeep Vanga. Mahesh is looking forward to giving Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam a chance. He delivered the blockbuster hit 'Pelli Choopulu', which featured Vijay Deverakonda in the lead.

Grapevine suggests that probably, Mahesh Babu’s next movie could be with Vijay Deverakonda's director Tharun. If everything goes well, Mahesh Babu will work with Vijay Deverakonda as the former was impressed with the script. Mahesh Babu is also planning to adjust the dates for the yet to be launched movie, it is learned. Before raising hopes on Mahesh-Tharun's movie, we will wait for an official word either from Mahesh or Tharun.
