Malayalam actor Mammootty's latest movie Yatra is creating all the right noises among movie lovers. The film performed well on its first day. It is learnt that Yatra has done double business than the first day in terms of box office figures on day two. As per trade reports, Yatra tickets have been sold out in more than 70 per cent occupancy especially in Telugu states. Audiences are rushing to theatres to get a glimpse of Dr YSR. Looks like audiences are lapping up the content of the movie. Mammootty is ruling the box office despite facing strong competition from Venkatesh's F2 and Uri The Surgical Strike. Mammootty who has put his heart and soul into his character has made the audiences go ga a over brilliant performance.
Yatra is based on the life of Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, focusing on his journey during the course of his padayatra. YSR fans can't stop raving about Yatra on social media platforms. Yatra is a blockbuster hit which was critically acclaimed and received immense appreciation from several quarters.
Point to be noted is that Yatra has surpassed two big biopics in Telugu-Keerthy Suresh's Mahanati and Nandamuri Balakrishna's NTR Kathanaykudu on IMDb rating. It is worth mentioning here that Yatra has received a 9.8 rating on IMDb which is the highest rating for any Telugu movie. Gear up guys, Yatra is all set to break other movie records.
Speaking about collections, Yatra has managed to earn approximately Rs 6 Crores on its second day at the box office. Exact figures are yet to be known.Coming to Yatra USA collections, the film has raked in $37,729 on foreign shores. The film's total stands at $109,902.
